My Experience: I absolutely loved it! Mozambique is beautiful and so very different from anything I have ever seen before. The beaches are perfect for long canters, horses are lovely and everything is quite crazy and chaotic, yet somehow seems under control. Pat and Mandy go out of their way to ensure all guests and volunteers have the time of their lives. I particularly enjoyed working with the new and young horses and meeting all the amazing guests from all over the world. The days vary a lot depending on what’s going on and also based on your own interests. There is always a chance to take a day off and go scuba diving (not that you’d want a day off…) or explore the islands.

The most important thing for me when choosing a place to go to is to be absolutely sure that the horses are treated with respect and are well looked after. I can safely say that I have never met anybody who loves their horses as much as Pat and Mandy do. They have a deep connection with each individual horse and they are all very happy, healthy horses.
