The minimum time period we accept volunteers for is two weeks. The reason for this is that it can take a little while to adjust to life here, and for you and the project to benefit fully from your experience we require a commitment of at least two weeks.

RATES JANUARY - DECEMBER 2010

TWO WEEKS (14  nights): US $ 1 200.00
THREE WEEKS (21 nights): US $ 1 650.00
FOUR WEEKS (28 nights): US $ 2 000.00
EXTRA WEEK AFTER: US $ 450.00

What’s included: Accommodation, three excellent meals per day, airport transfers, laundry service, all use of the horses and equipment, trail rides and  beach rides

What’s not included: Flights, personal travel insurance, visas, any personal spending money, internet, any extra excursions or activities.

As well as the cost of the program, volunteers are asked to bring and donate a few things for the horses which are very hard to obtain in Mozambique. These can include cotton wool for doctoring, fly wipes, stirrups, wound spray, eye salve, light- weight riding helmets or reins
